Eventodesk Platform Terms of Service

Eventodesk provides event rental website software. Businesses control their own public content, legal review, policies, pricing, availability, deposit or booking links, and customer communications.

Eventodesk provides website, inquiry, media, launch, domain, support, and operations software for U.S. party and event rental businesses. Eventodesk does not provide legal, tax, accounting, insurance, safety, permitting, payment-processing, event-planning, or business advice.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms govern access to and use of Eventodesk, including eventodesk.com, customer dashboards, website templates, media tools, inquiry forms, quote and availability workflows, custom-domain tools, support tickets, billing workflows, documentation, and related services. By creating an account, starting a trial, using the dashboard, publishing a customer website, submitting a support request, or otherwise using Eventodesk, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the business or organization you represent.

2. Eventodesk's role

Eventodesk is a self-serve software platform for event businesses. Customers control their own business profiles, packages, spaces, galleries, prices, policies, service areas, inquiry forms, website content, media, domains, and customer communications. Eventodesk does not endorse, verify, inspect, license, insure, guarantee, or operate any customer event business, venue, rental item, service, or booking.

3. Accounts and authorized users

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login credentials, controlling user access, and promptly notifying Eventodesk of suspected unauthorized access. Actions taken through your account may be treated as authorized by you or your business.

4. Customer responsibility

You are responsible for all content, media, package details, pricing, availability, policies, delivery areas, safety language, legal text, privacy notices, terms, claims, service descriptions, photos, gallery captions, alt text, form fields, customer communications, domain settings, and payment settings that you create, upload, publish, import, approve, or display through Eventodesk.

5. Trial, billing, and subscriptions

Eventodesk offers a 14-day free trial for eligible accounts. Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, the initial plan is $99/month, billed through Stripe, with no public tiers, setup fees, or per-user fees. Subscription billing, invoices, payment method handling, disputes, failed payments, and cancellation timing may be handled through Stripe and Eventodesk billing workflows.

6. Public forms and customer requests

Eventodesk may help customers collect quote requests, availability requests, tour requests, contact messages, and support messages. A submitted request is not a confirmed booking unless the business separately accepts it. Customers remain responsible for reviewing request details, checking inventory, capacity, staffing, service area, business hours, blackout dates, payment terms, and legal obligations before confirming any event.

7. Customer payments and third-party services

Eventodesk may integrate with third-party services such as Stripe, email providers, hosting providers, DNS and SSL providers, spam-prevention services, storage providers, and AI or translation providers. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy practices, fees, limits, and availability. Eventodesk is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.

8. Media and rights

You may upload only media you own, created, licensed, or have permission to use. Do not upload copied legacy assets, copyrighted stock images without rights, customer photos without permission, private information, illegal files, malicious files, or content that violates third-party rights.

9. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use Eventodesk for illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, unsafe, infringing, spammy, or platform-damaging activity. Eventodesk may suspend, restrict, unpublish, remove, disable, archive, or terminate access when it reasonably believes content or conduct violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, provider rules, platform integrity, public safety, or the trust and safety of Eventodesk, its customers, or the public.

10. Custom domains, DNS, and SSL

Eventodesk may provide custom-domain tools, nameserver instructions, SSL status fields, and deployment checks. You are responsible for entering accurate domains, verifying ownership, and ensuring that domain use does not infringe third-party rights or violate law.

11. AI and translation

Eventodesk may include AI-assisted or translation-related features in the future. Machine-generated output requires human review. Customers remain responsible for accuracy, legal sufficiency, cultural fit, claims, pricing, policies, and published language.

12. Service availability, changes, and backups

Eventodesk works to provide reliable service, but no software service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available. Eventodesk may update, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features. Customers are responsible for exporting or preserving business records they need outside the platform.

13. Disclaimers and limits

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eventodesk is provided as software without warranties that customer websites will generate leads, prevent spam, avoid downtime, meet every legal requirement, satisfy every accessibility rule, secure a booking, confirm inventory, or prevent business disputes. Eventodesk does not guarantee customer revenue, search rankings, event outcomes, legal compliance, payment success, domain propagation, or third-party provider performance.

14. Updates and contact

Eventodesk may update these Terms from time to time. Questions, support requests, abuse reports, copyright concerns, impersonation reports, security concerns, privacy questions, or unlawful-content reports should be submitted through Eventodesk contact, support, or abuse-report workflows, or by contacting team@eventodesk.com.
